✨ Sunny Boy V/T Dauwhof “Sunny” | 2018 Belgian Warmblood Gelding | Almost 17hh | Scope, Looks & Exceptional Temperament ✨

Sadly offered for sale is my stunning 2018 chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding, Sunny Boy V/T Dauwhof (“Sunny”). Standing just shy of 17hh, with plenty of chrome and exceptional looks, Sunny is the complete package.

Sunny has two years of show experience in Canada, along with previous show experience in Hungary before being imported.

He is currently schooling 1.0m–1.20m at home with plenty of scope remaining and has been lightly shown through 1.15m. I have intentionally taken my time with his development, ensuring he was confident and completely solid at the 1.0m level before moving up. He has never been rushed.

Sunny is very handy and light, goes in a simple rubber bit, and is extremely sensitive and responsive to his rider’s aids. With him, I have learned that less is more. He thrives with a smart, patient rider-and-coach combination that understands how to develop a talented, sensitive horse without over-riding or over-schooling him.

Sunny has a ton of scope and, with the right rider and program, I truly believe he has the ability to move well up the ranks. He is athletic, careful and handy, with so much untapped potential still ahead of him.

His personality is what makes him truly special. Sunny is an absolute angel on the ground with no vices and is genuinely like having a big dog around the barn. He is kind, sensible and exceptionally easy to handle — a true gem for a nervous horse person on the ground.

He ships beautifully alone or with others, is wonderful around children, other horses and animals, and is exceptionally easy for all routine care, veterinary work and dental work. No sedation or tranquilization is needed for procedures.

Sunny was purchased as an investment horse, and unfortunately I have made the difficult decision that it is time to part ways. He combines scope, sensitivity, athleticism, looks and an incredible personality in one very special horse.

He truly is one of a kind, and finding the right home and program for him is extremely important to me.

Added today as a wildcard: 5th at the KWPN Championship and qualified for the World Championship in Lanaken!

Rapido was added to our collection today at the very last moment as an absolute wildcard. And we are extremely proud of that. A horse we know well, because he was already sold through Youhorse.auction earlier this year. At that time he had jumped just one course at 1.00m level. Now, only a few months later, we consider him one of the most striking five-year-old jumping horses of his year.

Rapido competed at the KWPN Championship for five-year-old jumping horses, in which around 130 horses took part. He stayed clear for three days in courses from 1.25m to 1.30m and crowned his championship with a fantastic 5th place.

With that result Rapido also qualified for the World Championship for Young Jumping Horses in Lanaken. His new owner is therefore not only buying a highly interesting five-year-old sport horse, but immediately gets the opportunity to compete with him on the highest international stage for his age.

A real opportunity, and exactly why we felt Rapido could not be missing from this auction as a wildcard.

When Rapido came into our auction a few months ago, he stood out straight away. A very good-looking and correctly built horse with presence. A true Nixon with blood, the way we like to see them: quick off the ground, careful, plenty of scope and a very good attitude. He is exceptionally easy to ride and has a fantastic character.

We already saw these qualities back then. But his development in only a few months is impressive: from barely any course experience at 1.00m level to a 5th place at the KWPN Championship and a ticket to the World Championship in Lanaken.

We are therefore extremely proud that today, together with his owner, we were able to decide to offer Rapido through Youhorse.auction once again. An unexpected addition to the collection and, in our view, one of the absolute eye-catchers of this auction.

Granddam Gerlina (Pele x Farn) is ster and prestatie and produced among others:

Edward Blue is a five-year-old gelding who has already attracted attention with a victory in a young horse jumping class (1.00 m). Even at this early stage of his career, he combines exceptional talent, outstanding rideability and the kind of character every rider hopes to find in a young sport horse.

One of Edward Blue’s most remarkable qualities is his kind, relaxed and balanced temperament. He is a horse that brings joy every day and, thanks to his uncomplicated nature, appeals equally to professionals and ambitious amateurs. At the jumps, he demonstrates excellent judgement and an almost effortless technique. His quick reflexes, carefulness and seemingly unlimited scope suggest a very exciting future ahead. Quality, attitude and rideability come together here in an exceptionally attractive package.

His movement is equally impressive. Three harmonious gaits, a naturally balanced canter and automatic flying changes make him a comfortable and straightforward horse to ride and develop further. His willingness to perform, combined with his natural rideability, gives riders confidence and creates an enjoyable partnership from the very beginning.

His sire, Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, is one of the most influential showjumping sires in the world today. The son of Clinton and Toulon competed successfully at the highest international level under Willem Greve and has established himself among the leading sires in international breeding rankings. Outstanding offspring such as Killer Queen VDM, Electric Blue P, Jeunesse, Geneve R, Grandorado TN and Highway M TN underline his exceptional breeding value.

The dam line is equally impressive. Edward Blue is out of a daughter of the unforgettable Chacco-Blue, one of the most influential jumping sires of all time. Particularly noteworthy is the direct connection to the mare Widine by Domino, who is also the granddam of the renowned sire Chacoon Blue.

Further generations feature proven performance blood through Domino, Winston, Almhügel III and Agram. The fourth dam, Akelei Z, is a full sister to the Olympic Team Gold Medal winner Askan, ridden by Gerd Wiltfang. This dam line traces directly to the highly influential Hanoverian mare family 33/Agenda, one of Germany’s most successful performance families. No fewer than 25 licensed stallions and numerous international showjumpers originate from this line, including Aramis Z, Askan, Don Ramiro, Gavi and Sao Paulo.

Edward Blue combines proven talent, exceptional rideability and a pedigree packed with international performance genetics. A modern sport horse with all the ingredients for a successful future in showjumping.

Timeless ✨

2023 16.3h KWPN gelding by Jethro Tull x Diamond Lad IMP x Harlequin du Carel

Known affectionately as “Jackson” in the barn, he truly is timeless. He has a stand-out character that makes everything easy. Jackson is interesting as a junior/amateur prospect for a variety of disciplines. Will be the ideal ammy type for all three rings and could cross over as a dressage or eventer. He has been raised with thought and care; since birth, he has been a healthy horse (knock on wood lol). He's had his first few rides and continues to impress us with his trainability and intelligence. He's sure Jethro Tull is known for producing amateur-friendly horses like himself that are trainable and know their job. His dam, Lady Quin, is an imported ISH with a solid North American record up to the 1.40m. From a solid damline, Lady has produced quality amateur-friendly mounts.

He's pinned very well every year in the Young Pony Hunter championships 5& under model classes to prep him for his future pony final career every year as well! He has 3 natural rhythmic gaits and prefers to be naturally balanced. He offers changes in both directions when asked and willingly and happily goes over 2' courses. Pancake will be a top contender in the division given some more time to blossom into himself. He's extremely level headed and enjoys being at different venues, nothing phases him. Conditioned in busy barns he loves kids, bathes, grooming and to be loved on. Pancake loads and clips and stands for the farrier or vet without issue. He truly is a special little guy.

Mozart is an exceptionally talented young horse with natural balance, a good overview, and easy, correct flying changes.

Over the jump he shows sharp reflexes, excellent technique, and plenty of scope. He is straightforward in his attitude, not spooky or difficult to ride. Of course, he is still a young horse and needs to continue his education in a correct and professional way.

We believe Mozart has the quality and ability for a professional rider, but a skilled amateur rider will also be able to develop and enjoy him.

This horse will be sold through our online auction:
dutchhorsetrading.auction

Through this renowned and reliable auction platform, between 150 and 200 horses are sold to the United States each year.

The upcoming auction will take place from March 3 to March 5.

Westside M, aka Maisie

Offered by owner/breeder. Maisie is sired by Sir Gregory, the winning 3 year old in the 30 day test (9+ dressage, 9+ rideability) and out of the Elite mare Westside, champion 3 year old in Hanover. She has been professionally started and continued in training. Maisie has a eye catching presence, her bold character and power led her to jumping. She is eager and bold to the fences and is a beautiful mover in all three gaits. She has a mild case of Shivers with her left hind leg.

“Libby” does SS though the division. Big step, auto change, beautiful mover with a soft mouth! Perfect for a kid coming off a medium looking for their next step-up to a more athletic competitive pony.

Would consider a trade for safe medium children’s-division pony.

*Charli — 2014 Rheinlander Mare, 3'3" Hunter-prospect for 3’6”*

Brave mare with zero spook and minimal prep needed. Currently showing 3'3" with ribbons out of fields of 18+, scope for more. Has competed in her first two derby’s this summer.

Competitive in the hack — 1st and 3rd in two of three hack classes this year. Always a piece of the hack in any company.

Charli would be excellent for a Junior or Adult Amateur intermediate rider, and would make a great move-up horse for a rider coming up through the 3'3"/3'6".

Low mileage for her age, requires some maintenance.

Located King City, ON. Serious inquiries please.

AVAILABLE FOR TRAILS COLORADO JUMPING TOUR SUMMER WEEKS 4 & 5
Located in Colorado Springs

16.1hh 2018 Belgian Warmblood (IMPORTED 2024)

If you’re looking for a mare that combines brains, beauty, and a developing record that is only going one direction — up — Indy deserves your attention.

Recently imported after showing through the 1.0m in Europe, Indy stepped into the US ring with ease and was Champion in the Baby Greens in Tyler, TX (March 2025). Since then, she has been leased to a junior rider and is confidently competing in the 2’9”–3’ Hunters, continuing to gain mileage and prove her consistency.

Indy is the kind that makes the job simple. She jumps the fill without hesitation, stays rhythmic to the base, and has a soft, correct, lead change. She is brave but not strong, forward but not hot, and forgiving enough for a junior or adult amateur in a program.

What truly sets her apart is her brain. She walks into new environments and goes to work. Minimal prep. No drama. No theatrics. She wants to do her job and take care of her rider. If you didn’t know her age, you would guess she has been doing this for years.

She has the scope to continue developing through the 3’ and beyond, making her an ideal junior or adult amateur prospect for someone who wants a competitive horse without the drama or learning curve of a green project.

Lease, purchase, and lease-to-purchase options available.

If you’re looking for a safe investment that is only getting better with miles, this is the one to step into now.

Pura Vida BC is an 11 year old mare by Vigo out of a clone of Mclain Ward's Sapphire. She has been in our program for almost 3 years and has produced lots of results in 1.40/1.45m classes and regional grand prixs. We would love for her to step down into a 1.20/1.30m junior/ amateur job which will be very easy for her and she can do happily and competitively for many years. This mare has a heart of gold and has certainly won our hearts over. We know she will continue to be an amazing horse for her next person. She is the horse that you are excited to ride at the end of the day and she is the horse that you can always count on to take care of you. Vida would be a great horse for a competitive jr/am that has ambitions to jump bigger tracks. She is a great mount to learn on and gain enormous amounts of confidence. With the right rider and program she could continue to jump regional grand prixs and 1.40m classes. Vida is located in Ocala FL between the World Equestrian Center and HITS.

The sweetest gentle giant around. Calgary is a fantastic big track prospect for a pro but easy enough for a junior or amateur in a program. Always jumping a 10 with fabulous movement he could easily step into the hunters or Eq in addition to the jumper ring. he is keen to the jumps and brave as anything. Despite his height he has the perfect step that doesn’t get away from you and does not ride as big as he is. He is primed to move up or finish out in your own way. Will be competing monthly across the midwest until he is sold.

Choreography, "Leo", is stunning and talented. With experience in both the Hunter and Jumper rings, Leo has tons of scope, is incredibly kind and loaded with personality. He has been successfully shown for the past few years at HITS Saugerties, Fieldstone, the Big E, New England Charity and is headed to HITS Vermont in early July.

Leo has shown up to the .90s with a junior and up to 3' in the hunters with a professional. He has a lovely rhythm and great brain. Born in 2019, he is still young and as he gains miles price will increase.

NFC - is an 8yrs old gelding that has been slowly brought up through the ranks. He is currently showing in the 1.20m and is ready to move up to the 1.30m. He is uphill built with a very good canter and a nice amount of blood. Over fences he is brave and careful quick reflexes. He is the perfect horse for an ambitious amateur/junior or a professional wanting a future GP horse. He has not shown much these past two years due to rider circumstances. Meet Ruby. PLEASE CALL HILLARY CARLSON AT (614) 589-7434 IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. Home bred, her mother HC Glitter is bred from the prestigious Peggy Marshall’s PM ponies in Maryland. Her mother was a successful children’s hunter pony. Ruby’s sire is the famous Alvetsa Owain. She should mature to 13.1 or 13.2 hands, the father stands at 13.1 hands and the mother stands at 13.2 hands. Both sire and dam stand top of the line for breeding standards. This filly was bred at my home stables. I have been a professional trainer in the Welsh hunter jumper community for 30 years. She was bred to be a premier hunter jumper prospect. She has been properly and thoroughly imprinted. She stands for the farrier. She is current in UTD on worming and vaccinations. She trainers well, stands in the crossties, and currently being trained in hand on the long line. She is not saddle broken, price will increase with training. She is ready to go in any direction, or would make a fabulous driving pony. She has textbook confirmation.

Susie is currently going W/T/C under saddle and jumping small courses. She has a natural lead change, correct jump, and hack winning movement. She carries her own pace, not a spur/crop ride but not a hot head. She is marvelous on the ground, incredibly in your pocket and aims to please. This mare loves her job. Susie oozes potential and has scope for any and everything. She is professionally owned currently. She would be a great candidate for a professional to bring along but level headed enough for a good riding junior or amateur in a program.

‼️ Available for Trial — DIHP Weeks 6 & 7 ‼️
For those seeking a true master of the 1.20–1.35m level, Flinstering offers a standard of education and depth of experience rarely available on the market.
A proven international campaigner, Frank carries 5* mileage, 3* Grand Prix victories, and a global record spanning Doha, London, Wellington, and Palm Springs, just to name a few. His exposure at the sport’s highest levels ensures a level of composure, reliability, and ring intelligence that only time and exceptional talent can produce.
Highly educated and remarkably intelligent, Flinstering is a bold competitor in the ring and a charismatic, engaging personality in the barn.
For his junior rider, Frank delivered a remarkable ascent:
• From 1.20m to confidently jumping 1.40m
• First 1.30m, NAYC, Welcome Stakes, Grand Prix, and 1.40m classes
• Multiple wins across these divisions
His most recent result includes a 1.35m Welcome win out of 23 entries in early September. Following a well-earned rest and full maintenance program, he returns refreshed and ready to guide his next partner into the next season.
After a long and distinguished career at the international level, Frank is now prepared to step down to a lower level, continuing to do what he loves while imparting his knowledge to the right rider. His three-year partnership with his current rider has yielded invaluable mileage, confidence, and a foundation that will last a lifetime.
With Flinstering’s expansive resume of experience, there is very little he hasn’t seen or navigated both in and out of the ring. This depth of exposure makes him exponentially confident to the jump and incredibly level-headed in stressful environments, whether that’s shipping, crowded warm-up rings, or new venues.
His confidence and enthusiasm to do his job, paired with his sensitivity and intelligence, are what make him the remarkable competitor and professor he is. However, these same qualities mean he is not suited for a beginner ride and will need a professional ride when appropriate.

Looks, talent and a 10/10 temperament!

Anjershof Rishi is an exceptional talent across all disciplines. Good genes run in the family! Rishi is the half-brother of the approved stallion Anjershof Shadok and also half-brother to our own top hunter-prospect Anjershof Sergio, who is also part of this auction.

What we love about Rishi is his enthusiasm for everything you ask of him. Dressage one day, jumping the next; he is always happy to work and gives you the feeling that he genuinely enjoys learning new things.

Highlights:

- Amazing hunter prospect
- Dressage talent for the highest levels
- Expressive, light and athletic movement
- 10/10 temperament
- Excellent manners in and around the stable

Rishi learns incredibly quickly and is kind, willing and uncomplicated. He is a pleasure to work with every day. We recently took him to his first training course, where he was incredibly brave, easy and straightforward.

In the video´s he has no shoes.

Hunter, jumping or dressage? Rishi has the talent, looks and mindset to shine in every discipline!

Rishi is available at the SPARQ | Sport Pony Auction via www.sparq.auction. There is a possibility for Rishi to stay with us in training for a period after the auction. If you are interested in this option, please contact us before placing your bid, as we only have limited availability for ponies staying in training after the auction.

The looks of a star and the talent to match!

Anjershof Sergio a beautiful hunter prospect with a fantastic temperament. Talent clearly runs in the family: Sergio is the half-brother of the approved stallion Anjershof Shadok and also half-brother to our own talented Anjershof Rishi, who is part of this auction as well.

Highlights:

- Amazing hunter prospect
- Beautiful and athletic type
- atural jumping ability
- Excellent manners in and around the stable
- Even small children can handle and tack him up

Because of Sergio’s young age, we deliberately chose to focus his education on one discipline for now: the hunter ring. He is taking to the job incredibly well and shows all the qualities we like to see in a young hunter prospect.

But his talent certainly doesn’t stop there. With his quality movement and natural athleticism, we believe that if you put steel shoes on him, he could also have a very exciting future as a dressage pony!

On the ground, Sergio is an absolute star. Even a small child can walk with him, groom him and help tack him up. He is incredibly relaxed, kind and easy to have around.

Under saddle, He will never buck, rear or run off. Sergio is still young and gaining experience. He can occasionally be a little fresh at the beginning, as you may expect from a young pony, but settles nicely into his work and learns more with every ride.

Sergio is availeble throught the SPARQ | Sport Pony Auction at . There is a possibility for Sergio to stay with us in training for a period after the auction. If you are interested in this option, please contact us before placing your bid, as we only have limited availability for ponies staying in training after the auction.

An exciting young hunter today, with all the quality for an even bigger future!
