Leo is a 2019 16h Westfalen gelding brought along slowly and correctly by an amateur after being started professionally in the summer of 2024. He has 3 lovely gaits with a floaty trot and ground covering canter. He has more scope and step that keeps unfolding as his development comes along; getting across a jump or down the lines will never be a problem for this horse. He has aspirations and the potential of a lovely derby horse! He has a natural change that we are working on perfecting without too much pressure.

His personality is enormous! This guy is a barn favorite and loves attention. He is great for absolutely everything you can imagine; farrier, vet, hauling, clipping, bathing, showing, trail riding. He is incredibly brave and rarely spooks and wants to please. If he spooks, it's mainly internal and stationary; he will never rear, buck, or bolt.

He successfully competed for the first time at WEC Ohio this spring in the USHJA 2' and Future hunters earning ribbons in every class even with baby moments. He WON the under saddle the second week of showing and was third the first week out 10 horses and ponies. He will definitely be a top contender in every under saddle he competes in! He has successfully moved up to the 2'6" ring in the USHJA hunters and baby greens and yet again WON the under saddle at Brave Horse I this May. His changes are coming along as he puts all the pieces of being a show horse together!

He will be available for trials until he sells at Brave Horse Ohio shows all summer!
